Japanese force faced a great challenge to conquar Malay during second world war. Japan have to face an Allide force composed with British, Australian and Malay force. Japanese force made an advancement in Malayan Peninsula and that drives allied force toward singapore. This success of Japanese force happened due to lackings of air strength and sufficient of tanks in allied force. But during second world war Japan had a strong air supremicy with aircraft and trained people for efficient air attack.
In 10th December, 1941, HMS prince of Wales and HMS Repulse sunk and Japan got an opportunity to land in the Malayan east coast and significantly eliminated the British Naval supremicy in this area.
At the end of the January allied force crossed the strait of Jphor and enter into Singapore.
